I am intrigued as to how small emerging organisations at grass roots can even begin to understand this sort of language and ideology. There is a simple solution to this, make funding simpler. The continued industry that is capitalising on charity community as a way of making substantial money therefore circularising private and community funding into a abyss of experts is quite appalling. It is also definitely going to impact working class and BAME’s accessing grants. Charity is now a massive business with NGO’s and quangos now themselves disguised as charities. Sorry organisations representing the interests of the Third Sector need to be really challenging this.

I would also welcome any help with setting up our new organisation with aim of protecting human rights, and community development, including fundraising and documentation.

I represent a new foundation CIO and need if possible to be provided with Polices and procedures such equality and Diversity, children safeguarding and constitution. Regards

I would like to volunteer in an elderly care home, not as a nurse (I am not qualified) but as an emotional carer - a friend. I live in North London (Finchley). I am a young and active 74 year old and am really concerned about people who don't have visitors or friends. I must be so awful! Please contact me if anyone knows of somewhere where this might be helpful. After all, being old is one thing, but it doesn't mean that quality of life should end, and I know that qualified carers are run off their feet.
